Le leader mondial dans le secteur des produits bioth\u00e9rapeutiques CSL Behring pr\u00e9voit de cr\u00e9er un centre de recherche et d\u00e9veloppement dans le nouveau b\u00e2timent de sitem-insel, le centre suisse de m\u00e9decine translationnelle, sur le campus de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Ile \u00e0 Berne.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Apr\u00e8s l\u2019implantation, en juin 2017, du Diabetes Center Berne<\/a> voulu par Willy Michel du groupe Ypsomed, la capitale f\u00e9d\u00e9rale accueille un nouveau centre de R&D sur les produits bioth\u00e9rapeutiques innovants. Fruit d\u2019un partenariat entre la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 biopharmaceutique CLS Behring et l\u2019Institut suisse pour la m\u00e9decine translationnelle et l\u2019entrepreneuriat (sitem-insel<\/a>), le Biologics Research Center sera bas\u00e9 sur le campus de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Ile<\/a>, o\u00f9 un nouveau b\u00e2timent de sitem-insel est actuellement en construction. Une cinquantaine de collaborateurs des divisions recherche et d\u00e9veloppement clinique pr\u00e9coce de CSL Behring travailleront dans ce nouveau b\u00e2timent \u00e0 partir du printemps 2019.<\/p>\n

Une collaboration de longue haleine<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Pour le Dr Adrian Zuercher, directeur de la recherche chez CSL Behring Berne, la proximit\u00e9 avec les cliniques universitaires de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Ile est un atout majeur pour d\u00e9velopper des produits innovants orient\u00e9s vers les patients. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 entend d\u00e9velopper des produits th\u00e9rapeutiques dans ses domaines d’activit\u00e9 traditionnels, tels que l’immunod\u00e9ficience et les maladies auto-immunes, mais \u00e9galement de nouveaux produits dans des domaines tels que la transplantation et la neurologie, a expliqu\u00e9<\/a> la responsable de la communication Sandra Ruckstuhl \u00e0 la Berner Zeitung. L’entreprise va investir \u00ab\u00a0un montant \u00e0 sept chiffres\u00a0\u00bb dans la construction du centre.<\/p>\n

CSL Behring et l\u2019H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Ile sont li\u00e9s par une longue tradition de coop\u00e9ration\u00a0: les deux institutions travaillent ensemble avec succ\u00e8s depuis les ann\u00e9es 60 dans la recherche et le d\u00e9veloppement.
