Le Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV<\/a>) vient d\u2019inaugurer un Centre de production cellulaire pour l\u2019immunoth\u00e9rapie sur le site Biop\u00f4le<\/a> d\u2019Epalinges, dans le canton de Vaud. Avanc\u00e9e scientifique majeure, l’immunoth\u00e9rapie a pour but de stimuler le syst\u00e8me immunitaire du patient, notamment les lymphocytes T, pour qu\u2019ils s\u2019attaquent aux tumeurs. Elle a donn\u00e9 d\u2019excellents r\u00e9sultats cliniques contre des cancers r\u00e9put\u00e9s incurables. Ce laboratoire hautement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9, qui sera compl\u00e8tement op\u00e9rationnel l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 prochain, offrira de nouvelles perspectives aux patients pour lesquels les traitements standards se sont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s inefficaces.<\/p>\n

La nouvelle structure op\u00e9rera en \u00e9troite collaboration avec l\u2019Institut Ludwig pour la recherche sur le cancer (LICR<\/a>), bas\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne (UNIL<\/a>). Des synergies seront aussi d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es avec AGORA, le futur centre suisse de recherche contre le cancer. Actuellement en construction sur le site du CHUV, AGORA<\/a> ambitionne de devenir un p\u00f4le de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence susceptible d\u2019attirer les meilleurs sp\u00e9cialistes du cancer. Il accueillera d\u00e8s 2018 sous un m\u00eame toit pr\u00e8s de 300 chercheurs et cliniciens du CHUV, de l\u2019UNIL et de l\u2019EPFL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
