In this case, the acceptance rate was around 8%\u201d, explains Dr. Henning M\u00fcller, Professor of computer management leading a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to E-Health and composed of 25 people.<\/p>\n<p>With this project, the HES-SO Valais\/Wallis becomes the first institute of the network of universities of applied sciences of Western Switzerland to coordinate an H2020 initiative. EXA MODE\u2019s objective is to develop new computer prototypes that will allow the treatment of large medical data for examining bulk histopathologic images coming from cancer biopsies and other conditions. The use of AI algorithms will offer better descriptions of the pathologies and hence better treatment decisions.<\/p>\n<h4>Cutting-edge competencies in the canton of Valais<\/h4>\n<p>The Institute of Computer Management is one of the seven research establishments of the HES-SO Valais\/Wallis.
